Overview

1.1 Participants, upon submitting their registration, acknowledge their clear understanding and agreement to abide by all the provisions outlined in the competition regulations.

1.2 All updates to the rules, content, and requirements of the competition, as well as any announcements related to the event, will be published on the association’s website and will not be notified separately.

1.3 All competition-related content and announcements published on the association’s website are considered part of the competition rules.

1.4 Participants are responsible for ensuring that the registration information provided is complete, accurate, and in compliance with the competition regulations and requirements of each category, in order to avoid administrative confusion or errors.

1.5 The association is not responsible for verifying whether participants’ registration information meets the eligibility criteria.

1.6 Any participant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria, fails to comply with the association’s requirements, or violates the rules, either before or after the competition, may have their eligibility revoked.

2. Registration

2.1 All competitions accept online registration only. For detailed registration procedures and relevant information, please refer to the official website of each competition.

2.2 Participants must provide their name that matches their identification documents during registration.

3. Registration Dates

3.2.1 Each competition has a specific deadline for registration, and participants must complete the registration process according to the requirements of each competition before the deadline.

3.2.2 Online registration must be completed by 11:59 PM on the deadline date.

3.2.3 For any late applications, they will be reviewed by the respective competition committee on a case-by-case basis. If accepted, participants will be required to pay the relevant administrative fees.

3.3 If there is a limit on the number of participants for individual competitions, the slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the submission date of participants’ registration forms.

4. Registration and Competition Fees

4.1 For detailed information on the registration fees for individual competitions, please refer to the regulations of each competition or the association’s website.

4.2 If the number of participants in a particular category/group is full or insufficient, the organizers have the right to refuse registration applications or cancel the competition in that category and refund the registration fees already paid by participants.

4.3 Once participants have completed the registration, regardless of the reason and whether they participate or not, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to others or for other purposes.

4.4 All registration forms that are incomplete in payment, contain incorrect information, false information, or are not fully filled out may be rejected or result in disqualification, both before and after the competition. The fees already paid will not be refunded.

4.5 Participants are required to keep all original payment documents until the end of the competition. The association reserves the right to request participants to provide original or copy of relevant payment proof at any time during the competition. Failure to provide such proof will be considered as an incomplete payment process.

4.6 All registrations require participants to provide payment proof, such as bank deposit receipts, to demonstrate successful payment of the registration fees. If the receipt or proof is lost and cannot be provided, further verification will not be conducted by the association.

5. Participant Information and Changes

5.1 Before submitting the registration, please carefully review the information to ensure its accuracy.

5.2 After the deadline, if participants need to make changes to their personal information, the association reserves the right to charge an administrative fee of HK$100 for each change.

5.3 Email, WhatsApp, phone, or postal mail will be the primary methods of communication and notification. Therefore, please ensure that the contact email, contact phone number, and contact address are clearly provided. The association will not be responsible for any failure to send event notifications correctly due to unclear or incorrect information provided.

5.4 Unless otherwise specified for individual competitions, all event notifications (including competition letters) will primarily be sent via email.

5.5 It is recommended that each participant provide a separate contact email address to avoid confusion or the system mistakenly classifying event notifications as spam when multiple participants share the same email address.

Competition Rules

6.1 The association reserves the right to modify the published competition regulations, events, schedules, or other information. Any changes will be announced on the association’s website. All information is subject to the latest announcements on the website.

6.2 The association and the organizers have the right to cancel any competition based on circumstances. The affected participants will be notified of the arrangements for the cancellation.

6.3 All participants must adhere to the rules established by the organizers. In the event of any violation, the organizers have the right to disqualify any participant.

6.4 The decisions made by the organizers and judges are final, and no objections or disputes will be entertained.

6.5 The organizers reserve the right to modify any competition rules, terms, awards, competition, and judging arrangements without prior notice to the participants.

7. Works, Awards, and Scoring

7.1 The scoring criteria will vary for different competitions. Please refer to the regulations of each competition for detailed information.

7.2 The distribution of awards and the number of placements will be announced in the regulations of each competition.

7.3 If the competition includes first, second, and third place rankings, the requirements and arrangements for the number of participants in each category are as follows:

7.3.1 If the number of participants in a category is less than five, only the first-place award will be given.

7.3.2 If the number of participants in a category is less than three, no first, second, or third-place awards will be given, but participants can still receive relevant certificates based on their scores. Participants can also choose to change categories for the competition. If participants withdraw from the competition under this circumstance, it will be considered a cancellation of the competition.

7.4 The competition judges or referees have the final decision on the competition results, and no objections will be entertained.

7.5 The presentation or collection methods and dates for all trophies/medals/certificates will be announced in the “Individual Competition Rules.” All uncollected awards will be kept for 30 days. If the awards are not collected before the deadline, the association will handle them at its own discretion without further notice.

7.6 If a person who is unable to personally collect the awards or authorize someone else to do so requests the trophies/certificates or any related materials to be sent by express delivery, an additional administrative fee will be charged. Express delivery will be arranged on a “pay on delivery” basis through a designated courier service. The association will not be responsible for any postal errors or damages.

7.7 Within 30 days of the announcement of the competition results, all works submitted under a group’s name will be returned to the respective participating groups (additional postage fees may apply if mailing is required).

7.8 Within 30 days of the announcement of the competition results, all works submitted under an individual’s name must be collected in person or requested for mailing by contacting the association via email (additional postage fees may apply if mailing is required).

7.9 After the announcement of the competition results for 30 days, individuals who participated in the competition and wish to retrieve their works will be required to pay an administrative fee of HKD $200. The applicant must notify the association to arrange for self-collection or choose to have the works mailed (additional postage fees may apply). The applicant also needs to download the “Declaration for Return of Works” from the association’s website. All communication regarding this process should be conducted through email with the association’s staff (the association will only retain the works for 60 days).

8.Participants’ personal images, family photos, works, or award information may be uploaded to the organizer’s website or promotional materials for promotional purposes. The organizer and its affiliated organizations are not required to provide separate notification or payment to the participants.

9.Personal Data

9.1 Participants are required to provide personal data to the organizer for the effective organization of the competition by the organizer, the organizing agency, and supporting media.
9.2 Email will be the primary means of communication for this competition. Please ensure that the provided email address is correct and able to receive notification emails.
9.3 Each participant should ensure that all personal data provided for the purpose of participating in this competition is accurate and correct.
9.4 Each participant confirms and agrees to allow the organizer and the organizing agency to use their personal data for the organization of this competition. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy included in these terms and conditions.
9.5 The organizer and its supporting media may disclose the participants’ submitted personal data based on legal requirements, court orders, or legitimate requests from government departments or law enforcement agencies, or if the organizer deems such disclosure necessary to protect their rights or property.

The size requirements for physical entries are as follows:

– All physical entries should have a minimum size of A4 (297 x 210mm) and a maximum size of A3 (420 x 297mm).

For coloring competition entries:

– The size requirement for physical coloring entries is A4 (297 x 210mm).

For painting entries:

– Painting entries can include, but are not limited to, children’s drawings, Chinese paintings, crayon art, oil paintings, acrylic paint, watercolor, spray paint, pastel, wood colors, sketches, cartoons, and craft paintings. There are no limitations on the style, technique, or choice of pigments. Participants are free to choose different styles and pigments for their creations. Additionally, participants can add any decorations they wish, such as clay, stickers, glitter, etc.

For video entries:

– The entire competition video should clearly show the participant’s full or half-body, appearance, and actions, depending on the requirements of the specific competition event.
– The video resolution should be 720p (1280×720) or higher.
– The video must be a single continuous shot without any special effects, such as music, sound effects, images, text, filters, transitions, color grading, subtitles, or special effects. No editing or post-production is allowed. The video must have live sound recording and should not include any dubbed audio. While filming, efforts should be made to keep the camera stable, use fixed shots, and avoid camera movements.
– Due to potential loss of quality when sent via WhatsApp, please upload the video to platforms such as YouTube or Google Drive and share the link with us.

Please note that these requirements are specific to the competition you mentioned. For other competitions, the requirements may vary, so it is important to refer to the official rules and guidelines provided by the competition organizers.

You can submit your entries by following these steps:

Rename your digital file as “(Competition Name)-(Participant Category)-(Participant Name).”
Email the file to info@learningdolphin.com or submit it via WhatsApp to 53691068.
The file should be in either JPG, PNG, or PDF format.
The digital artwork should have dimensions not exceeding 4032 x 4032 pixels, and the file size should not exceed 10MB.
Please ensure that you adhere to the specified file format, size, and submission method provided by the competition organizers.

Different competition events will have different awards and prizes. For detailed information, please refer to the specific category’s information provided.

To get detailed information about the basic rules of participation and the regulations of the competition event, it is recommended to review the competition’s official guidelines and regulations. The association will individually notify the winners via WhatsApp to arrange for the completion of the award customization form and payment. All customized awards will be shipped via SF Express with the payment to be made upon delivery, approximately 8-10 weeks after the award customization deadline.

Yes, in most cases, it is possible to order additional customization or replacements for certificates and trophies that have already been sent and received. However, the availability and specific process may vary depending on the policies of the association or organization overseeing the competition. It is recommended to directly contact the association or organization to inquire about the possibility of reordering or customizing certificates and trophies at a later time. They will provide you with the necessary information and guidance regarding the process and any associated costs.
